Korean graves are scattered unobtrusively throughout the countryside. You can't travel more than a mile or two without seeing tombs, either one or two alone, or a whole bunch like below.

The tomb of Sejong the Great, whose greatest accomplishment was organizing a group of scholars to create a writing system for Korean, "Hangul". Koreans had until then used Chinese characters, which take years to learn. The efficient and logical writing system Sejong's men came up with, on the other hand, can be learned in a few hours (you can already read "Moby Dick", above.) It is also one of the very few alphabets that was created artificially, having not evolved from earlier hieroglyphics or ideographs, unlike alomst every other modern written languages. Koreans are so proud of Hangul that there is a national holiday called "Hangul Day."

The priting press was also invented in Korea 216 year before Guttenberg.
